Rally4Vets Founder Robert Hess invites veterans and community members to connect during his June 21 Bozeman stop as he raises awareness for veteran mental health and service dog programs.
BOZEMAN, Mont. - MontaNews -- BOZEMAN, Mont. Rally4Vets, the flagship program of the Disabled Veteran Empowerment Network (DVEN), will arrive in Bozeman on June 21 as part of its 2026 America Grand Tour, a 37 day, 6,554 mile journey across 16 states celebrating America's 250th anniversary.
Led by decorated Vietnam veteran and Rally4Vets Founder and CEO Robert Hess, the cross country journey raises awareness of veteran mental health challenges and supports service dog programs for veterans living with PTSD and other invisible wounds.
Montana, home to one of the nation's highest concentrations of veterans per capita, serves as a meaningful stop on the tour. During his time in the region, Hess will travel through Yellowstone National Park and visit Little Bighorn Battlefield while making routine stops throughout the area. He welcomes opportunities to connect with veterans, community members, and local organizations and looks forward to sharing the Rally4Vets mission with the Bozeman community.
"Veterans continue serving long after they take off the uniform," said Hess. "As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, this journey is about honoring that service, sharing veteran stories, and bringing communities together around the people who have sacrificed for our country."
The America Grand Tour is Rally4Vets' largest mission to date and follows the successful completion of the organization's 2025 Military 250 Rally. Supporters can follow the journey in real time through the Rally4Vets online tracker here: https://maps.findmespot.com/s/09RB#live/assets.
